Mackenzie Purdy, MD, FACOG comes to Vios Fertility Institute from the esteemed Mayo Clinic and is thrilled to be caring for patients in a city she loves. After receiving her medical degree at the University of Missouri, Dr. Purdy completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Kentucky. She obtained a Masters in Biomedical Sciences and completed her Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Purdy is well-recognized for her numerous peer-reviewed publications and abstracts. She first decided to join the field of reproductive medicine after witnessing the wealth of innovation and technology the field offered. Dr. Purdy has tremendous compassion for patients in the women’s health field and has experienced IVF treatment first-hand. This experience has allowed her to connect with patients in a unique way, understanding the emotions, challenges, and joyous moments individuals and couples can face during treatment.
While Dr. Purdy cares for patients in all aspects of reproductive medicine, her specialties lie in pre-implantation genetic testing, carrier screening and recurrent pregnancy loss. She welcomes patients who have been unsuccessful at other practices and is confident that her unique approach to personalized patient care will yield encouraging results.
Dr. Purdy is a member of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the American College of OB/GYN.
